BENTLEY Ill. REAR SHOCK DAMPERS.

Re: Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/Les.5/MCL.28.1.38.

As the rear shock damper is not in itself a problem, while the front damper is, I do not think we should at this stage set out to design a damper for the rear spring, but fit either a standard Bentley or pro tem. the Armstrong, and await the verdict on the new front damper, which will have repercussions on the rear damper design.

We have a great deal of work on hand in the Design Department at the moment, and EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}/Bastow who would most efficiently do the design has some serious features to clear up in connection with the front suspension and steering lock, which need immediate attention.
