B.III. SHOCK DAMPERS.

In order to overcome criticism received in
HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/WB.{Mr Brazier/Mr Bell}1/EP.{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}19.1.38 and other troubles which have been
experienced, we should like you to draw an alternative valve
assembly and gland which we think will greatly reduce the
cost and simplify assembling. We also need a boss on the
damper casing which will limit the movement of the damper
lever, before the piston reaches the end of the cylinder
on the rebound stroke.
