To RHC.{R. H. Coverley - Production Engineer} from EFC. X.2894 g EFC1/T25.11.21. X.2894 - TUNGSTEN POINTS FOR GOSHAWK IGNITION. In accordance with Mr. Royce's request, would you kindly have prepared half a dozen Goshawk ignition contact breaker levers and screws, minus contact points, so that we may have these sent away to be fitted with tungsten points for trial. Mr. Royce's idea is not that we have any intention of using tungsten points as standard, but he wishes us to demonstrate that tungsten can be used successfully on test, so that we shall have no qualms regarding platinum iridium points which we propose to fit as standard.
