Ph.III Steering.

Upon looking into the matter of the Timken taper roller bearings on the ends of the steering cam we find that the type of bearing we are already using is not as shown on N.Sch.4554, but is a special bearing of the steering gear type, No. 31C/32X. This is in effect identical to the bearing used on the La{L. A. Archer} Salle gear.

A print showing the arrangement of this bearing in our steering gear is at present in the possession of E/A, E.Cooke.
