RR 238 (150 BKS.) IOB 461-8-12-24) MP 306975 X4473. ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To: E 7 C Order No. WD {Mr Wood / Mr Whitehead} 66 Customer's No. X Date: 27-5-1929 H.T. wiring on S.S. chassis. We observed in the log book of the 10000 mile test chassis 22EX that at a mileage of 3760 the H.T. wires, particularly the magneto wires, were badly perished and cracked presumably due to the intense heat of the exhaust system. Is it possible to have these wires adequately shielded from the radiant heat of the exhaust system? Signed: H.E.W. This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work. | ||
