Observation of perished HT wiring due to exhaust heat on chassis 22EX, with a query about adding shielding.

We observed in the log book of the 10000 mile test chassis 22EX that at a mileage of 3760 the H.T. wires, particularly the magneto wires, were badly perished and cracked presumably due to the intense heat of the exhaust system.
