could be incorporated to correct this. It would also reduce the transverse pivot lean necessary to obtain the reduced out of centre point.

Replying to FJH{Fred J. Hardy - Chief Dev. Engineer}'s memo on exhaust fumes, we are not at present troubled with these entering the car. If however we get some suitable weather with less wind than at present we will try standing at the road side while the car is driven past on the over-run, and see if we can detect any less smell with or without the float chamber vents, as suggested.

We do not anticipate that the mileage will take much longer to complete and suggest you arrange a day towards the end of next week for Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer} to come out. The rear brakes will not last out the remaining mileage, so will you please send four spare shoes, lined if possible with V.G.90, so we can fit them ready for Mx.{John H Maddocks - Chief Proving Officer}
