Dear Sirs,
We despatched to you this morning by passenger train 4 - experimental 6.50/16 4-ply tyres upon which we would be glad to have your comments, particularly in regard to road holding and noise. These are the tyres which Mr. S. Lovell-Hewitt described in his telephone conversation with you last Saturday. It would be helpful to the discussions arranged for Wednesday, 14th instant if the results of your tests on those tyres were then available.
Yours faithfully,
THE AVON INDIA RUBBER CO.LTD.,

DEVELOPMENT MANAGER & CHIEF CHEMIST.
