Lovell-Hewitt and the undersigned. We hope to forward to you on Wednesday, 4th January, 16 tyres in our latest silent pattern. These will embody the further reduction in crown angle which was suggested last Wednesday. It is confirmed that four of those tyres will be tested by you on the road and on the drums at Derby and that the remainder will be required for tests on the experimental Bentley car now running on the Continent. We propose to call on you again at Derby immediately you have made your factory tests on this latest design, but we would again confirm that should any unexpected observations be made in your Continental tests the undersigned would be willing to proceed at short notice to the site of those tests to give what assistance he can in investigation.
