20 HP. REAR AXLE. X4256

The 20 HP. rear axle fitted with 11/50 gears with the pinion made from air hardened steel, ran for 34 hours on 1st. speed. maximum torque. W After that amount of running several teeth broke on the pinion. We are now about to test an 11/50 axle with the standard C.H.N.S. gears similar to those we are at present sending out on cars.
