X4256 On a 20 HP. rear axle fitted with 11/50 axle coarse teeth with the pinion made in air hardened steel, we have completed 30 hours running on 1st. speed, maximum torque. We propose carrying the test to 50 hours. If this axle stands up for that number of hours, we shall then consider it satisfactory and proceed with the other tests.
