N2/B19912. Re Cone Clutch. X356 19-9-12. 1200 We have thoroughly tested the cotton fabric cone clutch fixed by means of white staples and find it to be entirely satisfactory. We therefore agree that it shall be made standard as early as possible. T.M. Mr.Platford Mr.Wormald 19-9-12. Will you kindly initial the above if you agree, and return the sheet. Mr. Nadin 20-9-12. It is the best thing we have had, but not yet entirely satisfactory - edges still fray. Selvedge edges are essential and should be adopted as soon as ever possible. Mr. Royce has also suggested thinner gauge wire. One has been sent for examination by him. We should get his report. E.P. | ||
