Engine (Cont'd)

Induction pipe removed to replace broken stud to carb flange, new stud fitted, this is a temporary measure only, the thread is partially stripped and the tapped hole has broken into water passage. New joints fitted.

New 2.B.A. studs to secure bi-metal strip to induction pipe, the original 3.B.A. screws found stripped.

BONNET STRIPS.

Repaired and new wearing pads rivetted on, the original ones being worn away.

BATTERY.

No.6 cell of battery (No.B.9) failed.

New Dagenite battery fitted (No LD.8)

New holding down bolts fitted.

All the original parts which have been replaced have been labelled up and sent to stores.
