CAR TOOL AND SPARES EQUIPMENT. 20/25.

An investigation of the tools and spares given with our cars reveals the following suggested economies.

(1) Immediate Economies.
(a) Spares :- The following spare parts can be deleted immediately.

All spare nuts and split pins.
E.36225/31626. Screw and nut for tappets.
Battery ignition contact points and rocker arm (D.71652-71561.)
D.50109. Carbon brush for distributor.
E.50911 Spring ring. (Self starter drive.)
F.10921 Cork washer (Autovac.)
2-G.73872/3. Lead and bakelite wheel balance weights.
1-F.9775. Lubricator cap.
Set of spares for spring gaiters.
4-Sparking plugs and c&a washers.
4-E.53332. Locking washers. (Back axle oil drain.)
4-F.58705. Felt filter pad for Bijur pump.
6-E.54403 - Filter for non return valve. (now obsolete)
Inlet and exhaust valve complete with wedges, top and bottom washers, stem packings and holders.
1-G.73159 - Cardboard box.
The saving per car effected by these economies amounts to : £1.8.5½d.{John DeLooze - Company Secretary}

The spares equipment will then consist of :-
2-D.8125 - Dynamo Field Fuses.
6-G.73872 - Balance weights.
6-G.73873 - " "
2-Sparking plugs with c & a washers.
2-E.53332 - Locking washers (back axle oil drain.)
2-Valve springs E.58425.

We are of the opinion that the above is all that it is necessary to supply for all ordinary contingencies.

(b) Tools. There are not very many immediate economies that can be made. The following tools we suggest can be deleted without detriment.
