Dear Mr. Robotham,
I am in receipt of your letter of the 28th inst. reference as above, and note the reason you would like the undercut modification to the strangler spindle bearing.
I will therefore arrange to carry this out as soon as you give definite instructions, but I may add in passing that we have never come across a case yet of a strangler jamming for the reason you mention, even on those controlled by a thermostat, where the motive power is very small. However, if you think it will be a good idea we will certainly carry it out.
