We are in receipt of your letter of the 9th inst., and we are pleased to inform you that we could make the necessary interchangeable pattern to produce either the 6 Cylinder or the 8 Cylinder casting. We have looked into the question of the cost, and the price would be revised as follows:- "EB 3778 - 6 Cylinder Pattern & Coreboxes £295. 0. 0. Additional Coreboxes and Pattern Parts to make EB 4387 - 6 Cylinder Block £ 99. 15. 0. "EB 3950 - Additional Pattern Parts and Coreboxes to produce 8 Cylinder Block castings £197. 10. 0. Should you require large size Barrels the additional cost will be for the extra Coreboxes required £131. 15. 0. Delivery. 10/12 weeks from receipt of order. Complete. Terms Monthly Account. Nett. We should like to confirm that the patterns and coreboxes will be made of best Honduras Mahogany, and fitted with cast iron barrels ground to size to be withdrawn from vertical steel spindles in each case.
