From the tests we have made, therefore, it is clear that the Bleriot Phi cutout, if correctly set, is a good and reliable cutout. It is understood from Mr.Hives that you have in mind the possibility of using this cutout on the GoshawkAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine chassis. It will no doubt be possible to get the makers to set these more exactly in accordance with our specification before delivering to us - in any case we must not have the feature of the chattering round about the cutting-in point. At the present moment the Rotax A.T.4 dynamo is being fitted to the Experimental GoshawkAero EngineCodename for 20HP Car / Aero Engine after KestrelAero Engine II chassis and the Bleriot Phi cutout will be fitted to operate in conjunction therewith.
