PHANTOM II LARGE EXHAUST SILENCER. We wish to carry out a series of tests on 22-EX. on the large exhaust silencer to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}789 and 790. Will you please prepare for these tests :- (1) A downtake pipe, front expansion box, and intermediate pipe to suit the large silencer (Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}790) to be used as an alternative to the straight through downtake pipe. (2) A 3" dia. central silencer pipe and baffles to suit as shown on Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}790. in place of the present 3.5" dia. pipe. The 3" pipe and baffles to be arranged as shown on the blueprint Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}790. but ignoring the pencilled alterations which are shown on this print.
