H.R. 884a (100 T) S.F. 798. 10-12-20 G 2247 X. 4288 Extract from EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 4/T2.6.21. X.664- BATTERIES Battery No.61 Exide 6BXE5 with separately supported positive and negative plates (New R.R. Standard). This battery has done quite well on the tests. The efficiency appears less than that of the previous 6 BXE5 batteries, but owing to the increased thickness and reliability of separation, and the rounding off of the plates at the corners, it is expected that the loss of efficiency will be more than balanced by the increased durability of the battery. | ||
