As a result of running 24-EX 10,000 miles in France and further experience on 25-EX, we are still left with one or two problems to clear up. RADIATOR. Loss of Water. We have proved out one scheme which reduces the amount of water lost and makes it equally as good as the present standard cars. W.W. have since sent us another scheme which we are proposing to standardise also fit to 25-EX. if tests prove it to be satisfactory. Thermostat Shutters. We have proved that a spring to return the shutters is a necessity and an advantage. W.W. have promised a modification which will make the spring unnecessary. We have not so far received their instructions so that 25-EX may have to go away with a spring fitted. Gearbox Oil Leak. We have not yet proved a complete cure for this but it has been greatly reduced. Other schemes are being tested. CLUTCH. We have had a certain amount of trouble with the clutch and because of this we have released 50 more cars with the present clutch. Recent tests have shown that | ||
