Dear Sir, We thank you for your letter of the 22nd, ref. HTG/FB, and confirm that the bridge must read from 0 - 1100C. The lower part of the scale is for measuring the air temperature, which in Winter may be easily as low as 50C. It is immaterial to us to have 20° steps provided we can read accurately to 1/200°.
