S.H.Grylls, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce Ltd.,
DERBY.

30th January, 1939.

Dear Mr.Grylls,

We have now completed the attachment of rubber chafing strips to the five wheel discs returned under cover of your advice WG{Mr Gill - Financial Director}/F57236, and they are being forwarded to you today against our despatch note 8755 as your own property.

I notice that four of the discs are unenamelled, and I would mention that when you carry out the colouring process we should not recommend stoving as the adhesion of the rubber strips may be impaired as a result.

On the one disc which was enamelled on receipt, we have attached the rubber direct to the enamel surface so successfully that we have no doubts as to its satisfactory adhesion.

Yours faithfully,
For DUNLOP RUBBER CO., LTD.
