We have seen the revised arrangement of the above to Lec.2570.

With regard to the instrument board light, I am afraid this is still not quite correct. You do not appear to show the instrument board lamp switch (on the switchbox) at all, which actually is fed from connection No.7 which also feeds the positive of the switchbox socket. Instead, you have connected the positive of the instrument board light to connection No.6 which comes direct from the battery, through the battery fuse and ammeter, to the switchbox. In this way the instrument board light would be always alight normally.

We note that you have now connected the cutout and green lamp auto switch shunt coil positives together to terminal C on the distribution board, as suggested, but it was not our recommendation that the current for the green lamp itself should also be taken from this point. We are of the opinion that if it is to be taken from the distribution board it should also come from No.7 connection. That is to say, the green lamp switch should really have four terminals instead of three as you have shown it. If we expect the green lamp current (in addition to that of the two coils) to come through the field fuse, as shown, we should almost certainly have to increase the size of the field fuse and then it would not offer the same degree of protection when
