The standardisation sheet has not yet reached me and I expect is with the Accounts for costing purposes.
Before agreeing to this being brought in on N.2. Series I should like to have information in regard to the cost of scrap.
As regards chassis for America in view of the distance that separates us and the expense that would be entailed in dealing with complaints of brake squeaks that might arise out there, I feel that we should definitely arrange to fit the Hancock scheme to all chassis for America, and if, as I understand, the first 4 cars are being built with the standard brake shoes, they should be changed before the chassis are shipped.
