Dear Nichols,

Thank you for your letter of 14th May.

I should like to talk to Mr. Moss about instruments and suggest Friday of this week if he can get up then.

Some of the clocks are better than others.

The panel design has not been dropped but is incomplete, having been put aside for war work for the time being. It is not dead, however.
