| ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. INSTRUCTIONS. To 2. Order No. Customer's No. The low speed sparking figures were Advance 55 rpm Central 100 rpm and Retard 135 rpm. We took this machine to the Test Dept and they confirmed on their rig with compression chamber that the magneto was quite up to standard. We are therefore at a loss to understand how this magneto became OK as the T.D. are quite sure that it did not give its present performance when sent away and Messrs Norths state that the magneto was OK when received.
