Watford EWG magneto No.100084.
This magneto was rejected by the Test Dept owing to its inability to start the Phantom engine cold.
We returned this magneto to Messrs North who wrote stating that the magneto was OK and passed our latest specification and that they proposed returning it to us without in any way touching or altering the machine. This we agreed to and we have now received and tested this magneto on the bench.
We find this magneto to be quite OK regular sparking being obtained at a speed of 250 rpm retarded on our standard gap and leak.
Signed (contd)
This Sheet must be filed on completion of the work.
