JD{J. Draper - Frames}49 X7535 20-1-30 676. X7535 Charging P.D's on P&R & Exide Std 6 volt unit Batteries. Tests have been made on the New Std P&R & Exide 6 volt unit batteries having the improved modifications as outlined in JD{J. Draper - Frames}48 3-1-30. The batteries were put in a tank filled with water which was artificially heated to any required temperature. The battery was then connected in series with a charging circuit. The charging P.D's were taken at various rates of charge at any temperature which could be fixed & the readings plotted on a graph. It will be seen that the PD is higher on the P&R than on the Exide. g.f. | ||
