X457. To Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} re P.II. Steering. Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/El.3.32 Copy to PN.{Mr Northey} Referring to Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Lid.{A. J. Lidsey}2/MA.26.2.32 I am very much interested in this question of steering joggles and shocks. The L.H. American cars with low rating springs appear to be suffering from it very badly and, as 58-GN isn't fitted with the similar type of springs, I was wondering whether you would like me to have one of the flexible spring shackles fitted to this car sothat I might see for myself what improvement is effected thereby. If you think this is a good suggestion, would you please let me know whether it could be done at N. Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} | ||
