8457 To Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} From Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. to PN.{Mr Northey} Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}1/MJ.2.3.32. PHANTOM II STEERING. Replying to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}4/El.3.32. I dare say PN.{Mr Northey} has told you that the suggestion is that we shall try a flexible spring shackle (Shimmy Shackle) on the new Continental Type London Trials Car. This car is a particularly bad example so it should prove to be a very useful test. We would, however, greatly welcome fitting up 58-GN. with what we consider greatly improves steering. It will take a few weeks to get the parts ready, but as soon as they are ready we will let you know and decide whether it is to be done at Derby or at N. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
