X4520. X6073. Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}/Hdy.{William Hardy} from EEC. EFC5/AD31.10.30. X.4520. TWO-WAY FOOT SWITCH OF R.R. DESIGN FOR CENTRAL LAMP SCHEME. Answering your Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}/Hdy{William Hardy} 20/T28.10.30. we regret that we still have no news from Mr.Elliott regarding the design of the above further than that sent to you under cover of our EFC1/AD229.30, we are, however, again writing him on the matter and will let you know the result. In the meanwhile we have received a further Lucas switch which that Company have put through extended laboratory tests breaking heavy currents and now place before us with every confidence. Though we have not "every confidence" in this switch nevertheless we have had it put on an experimental car for test. The amount of contact area was too small for us to be easy about it considering the heavy current of two P.100 head lamps which it has to carry. EFC. | ||
