X.4520. TWO-WAY FOOT SWITCH OF R.R. DESIGN FOR CENTRAL LAMP SCHEME.

May we again enquire of you regarding the position of the R.R. design of two-way foot switch. The remarks contained in your previous note E4/M20.9.30 were conveyed to Cx.{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager} and attached please find copy of his answering remarks Cx{Major Len W. Cox - Advertising Manager}1/KW30.9.30.

Recently, we have received a further Lucas switch which that Company have put through extended laboratory tests breaking heavy currents and now place before us with every confidence. Though we have not "every confidence" in this switch nevertheless we have had it put on an experimental car for test. The amount of contact area was too small for us to be easy about it considering the heavy current of two P.100 head lamps which it has to carry.
