Dear Sirs, We have to acknowledge receipt of your letter of the 10th inst, and in this regard would refer to the visit of your Messrs F.Ll Smith and Walters, to our Works to-day, in which the above gentlemen were able to witness the assembly and inspection of our 10" and 11" Clutches, as now being supplied to you. It was pointed out that we have a new jig fixture on order which will be available to-morrow morning, and we are accordingly arranging for the clutches produced to-day to be held over and tested in the new fixture, after which the clutches will be forwarded to you in the usual manner. We shall be pleased to receive your comments in due course following the clutches mentioned above being tested in your own fixtures, also we are arranging for the clutches built to-day to be specially marked, as suggested.
