UNDERSHEETS.

We have now carried out the tests on the effect of the undersheets on the various temperatures, the figures given below were taken at five minute intervals during a full speed run out from the garage, followed by ten minutes slow running in top gear.

The engine oil temperatures with the undershields fitted are between those obtained on 22.G.V. and on Bentleys under similar conditions.

We do not consider that the increase in temperature due to the undershields is serious, and are satisfied that they are suitable for production provided you ensure that they are modified to clear the lower triangle levers on full bump and also the front brake rod.
