When Les.{Ivan A. Leslie} came over to Paris recently with reference to radiator jellying on 60-JS{Mr Johnson's Secretary}, he returned with a very vivid impression of the difference between Continental conditions and English conditions with regard to this fault.

While 60-JS{Mr Johnson's Secretary} was at the Works two or three months ago we made a number of experimental pieces to overcome radiator jellying and tried them on the car here. Unfortunate-ly we could not reproduce the trouble sufficiently violently to form any very hard and fast conclusions. We believe, however, that we made some progress.

We are anxious to try these parts on the car again under Continental conditions. To this end we sent them over with our last experimental car and they should now be at Sevres We understand that 60-JS{Mr Johnson's Secretary} will be in Paris again in about three weeks and I should like to come over personally and make these tests if it can be conveniently arranged. We should want the car for 3 or 4 days. The bits have already been fitted to it/so that there will be no major alterations to make. once

The car is particularly interesting because it is a singularly bad example of radiator jellying and it also has our experimental shimmy shackle fitted to it.

Will you please let us know what can be arranged and the approximate dates.
