I have seen a copy of your Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rml/AD6.7.32 addressed to Hm{Capt. W. Hallam - Head Repairs} in Paris, and note you say in paragraph 3 that you understand 60-JS{Mr Johnson's Secretary} will be in Paris again in about three weeks' time from the date of your memo, which is 6th July. This is not quite correct, as the car has already arrived in Paris and its 'Laissez Passer' has been extended for a fortnight, which means that it must leave France on or before the 20th instant. Of course we want the car back in London before then if we can get it, but we believe you want to carry out some experimental work occupying three or four days, so we hope you will be able to do it in the early part of next week so that by the end of next week we can rely on the car being back in London.

Will you please look into this and see whether it can be arranged.
