HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LOV.{Mr Lovesey} FROM E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} ORIGINAL E6/M21.3.31. C. to R.{Sir Henry Royce} SC. WOR.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} C. to RG.{Mr Rowledge} DY.{F R Danby} re. NEW CARBURETTERS IN THE VEE. X39331. Referring to HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/LOV{Mr Lovesey}1/KT19331., the eccentric hole rotating slow speed adjustment is a device we made for the chassis down-draught carburetter when in Derby the winter before last. We believe it may infringe the Stromberg rotating sector adjustment patent. We already have R's permission to apply it to the carburetter in the Vee but the work was not done because these carburetters were put on the shelf soon after. Now however the position has changed we will make the modifications forthwith. E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} | ||
