we are an equally desirable and worthy concern as your own personnel and we hope that collaboration in this matter can be mutually beneficial, which we feel sure will be the case.

If these arrangements are acceptable to you we shall be pleased, as arranged, to see you at your works at Derby together with one of our engineers responsible for this particular engine, and have no doubt that we can make suitable arrangements to let you have an engine at a convenient date, although, as we have mentioned to you, we have a number of important Continental Road Races immediately following on the Tourist Trophy races in the Isle of Man, for which our engines would be required.
