R.{Sir Henry Royce} wants us to have the job put right immediately, and we suggest that you arrange to send a driver for the car as soon as you have prepared the necessary subframe supports and R-R footboards. The car should then go to Hooper's for them to fit the boards fitting in around ours, which finish flush with the dash brackets (see N. sch. 1989.) It will be necessary for someone from Derby to thoroughly acquaint himself with the schemes and to be at Hooper's to see that they carry out the work according to our designs.

Will HS.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} kindly tell us what he will do to get the work moving.

[Handwritten note]
Since writing this, we understand that you will take the car on Tuesday. Sept. 13th/ Will you kindly see the writer & go over the details with him.
