Inspection report detailing the condition of engine components with a table of piston measurements.

Pistons.

General condition very fair, no signs of seizure, bedding on the skirts good, all rings easy in the grooves, all drain holes choked with carbon, size of pistons as follows :-

Spring Drive.

Condition of whitemetal on Flywheels and fit of Flywheels very good, no sign of wear, bore of Spring Drive centre scored, ( see notes of Crankshaft).
Two driving springs had worked off there spigots and jammed, this may have been caused through Spring Drive not having been properly secured.

Clutch.

General condition very good, Flywheel Clutch Cover slightly scored.

Magneto and Dynamo Drive.

Serrations on all drives very good fit, they do not appear to have had much lubrication, this may be due to the fact that there were no stand tubes in the oil holes, this has now been attended to.

Oil Pump.

Casing worn rather badly due to being assembled on the skew, causing the Gears to rub on the side of the casings, also giving bad cross bedding on the Gears.

Governor.

Condition very good.
