Dear Sirs,

In reply to your letter of the 6th inst. reference HCW/SR we are sending you under seperate cover an order for a sample length of 24 feet of the braided Titeflex which you sent us.

We require the 36 S.W.G. braiding wire to be of tinned Phospor bronze, and also a supply of 50 of the small ferrules, a sample of which was soldered to the piece you submitted.

This will enable us to fit up an engine for trial on the test bench.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
