To HPS{Horace Percy Smith - Experimental Factory Mgr}/RH{R. Hollingworth} 800a Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/JRS/CK{Mr Clark} 5-4-40 Studebaker damper for 4B50 The damper at present on this car is one of the R.R. Harmonic type and we understand that it has been inconsistent. The trouble is inherent to the design of this partic- ular damper and it has been decided to fit one of the Studebaker type. Will you please allocate one of these to this car. The Studebaker dampers for B80 engines are to have 35-40 rubbers and stronger springs. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/jrs will supply these.
