To Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} From Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} [Handwritten] x 7960. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}4/MJ.19.11.30. VIBRATOR TYPE KLAXON HORNS. [Handwritten] x 7960 [Handwritten] x 1163. As you know, we fitted the Klaxon horn which we hoped to standardise to Sg{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD}'s car. Unfortunately he has written to say that he does not like the note of this and thinks it is cheap and like the American cars. This is disappointing because we felt that it did not differ from the Bosch very much, which is the best vibrator horn we know of and we do not see how we can get anything less American than this. However, we have asked Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} to try varying the note on the Klaxon, which is adjustable. Pending his further observations we are holding up the Standardisation Sheet.
