Failure of N°1 T.G.3. Coil.

This coil is the original T.G.3 coil made by Mr Brock, and upon which several tests have been carried out on the car.

It is called number one to distinguish it from two others of its kind which have since been made.

The failure occurred whilst putting the coil through a series of tests for the purpose of settling up a specification of test for this type of coil, and is in the form of a high tension breakdown on the secondary winding.
