Dear Mr.Kennington,

Referring to your letter of the 3rd instant the position with regard to the units we are testing is as follows :-

The Car unit has been held up unfortunately due to the fact that with our design of fixing, oil came through into the distributor and we have had to modify our arrangement of driving the same. It will be some time therefor before we can give you the results of our tests on this unit.

The Aero battery ignition sets are flying at Farnborough. At the moment they are actively engaged in the suppression of ignition noise in connection with wireless. I am hoping to go down there next week and see how things are progressing and will probably be able to let you know something later on with regard to this job also.

Yours sincerely,
