Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.7/MA. OUR REF. WOK/PP. 7th September 1934. SUBJECT Dear Mr. West, Thank you for your letter of the 5th September and for the interim information given therein. As far as a car unit is concerned, this oil trouble is a thing we have run into from time to time and I am wondering what modification you are adopting. We have found that a reverse thread oil groove or a drain hole in the Distributor Shank is sometimes a very satisfactory method of curing this oil pumping and, if it will interest you, I will have some sketches made up showing the sort of thing we have done in the past. Thank you also for the news of the Aero ignition. I shall look forward with great interest to hearing from you when you have something more definite to report. Yours sincerely, [Signature] Managing Director. EX 15903 | ||
