| x262 17.4.36. The following points were raised by Mr. E.R. Hall when he visited the Works on Thursday last, the 9th April :- (1) All fillers will have to have provision made for seals. (2) Wing stays will have to be modified to clear the 6 x 19" wheels and tyres. (3) A suggestion was made whereby we could fair the radiator cowling into the bonnet, but Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} pointed out that this might be difficult. (4) E.R. Hall asked for the lamp brkts. to be moved forward to enable the headlamps to miss the cowling. (5) The exhaust pipe should be lagged where it passes through the undershield. (6) It was pointed out that no expansion chamber was required for the exhaust system, if any benefit was incurred thereby. (7) The 4 1/4 litre instrument board requires a suspension similar to B-35-AE. (8) E.R. Hall asked whether it would be possible to supply a light radiator for the old Bentley. (9) E.R. Hall asked that the vent in the petrol tank should be the same size as the filler cap. It is proposed to collect the car for the body to be completed on Monday the 20th inst. and the car to proceed to Monthlery on Monday the 27th.
