SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE.

18th April, 1936.

W.A.Robotham, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
DERBY.

Dear Mr.Robotham,

Replying to yours of the 16th April, Ref. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}14/KW., which has been acknowledged in my absence, I shall be delighted to take care of the special Petrol Gauge for Mr. E.R.Hall's Car, especially in view of the fact that it is for so worthy a cause and have accordingly given instructions for the instrument to be prepared with all speed.

As regards the question of dial size for the Gauge, we can work to any reasonable dimension in this direction. I would like to suggest that in the circumstances this instrument be fitted with the warning light device. Before proceeding with this portion of the outfit perhaps you will very kindly let me know how much room is available.

Sincerely yours,

Charles Whianot
SALES DIRECTOR.
