Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer} 7/H6.5.33 ------- We are not quite able to understand this memo. because we have not ordered anything special about this particular chassis. It is an ordinary standard long type chassis that was fitted with a full size Limousine body for use as a Demonstration car. It certainly is not intended to be a hybrid between a Continental and a standard car. The only thing we have said is that it might be used on the Continent, but this applies to all our big Limousines. Occasionally they are taken over for use on the Continent; but the vast majority of the time it will be used in England in the ordinary way. We therefore do not want anything on this except standard. The Hartford Shock Absorbers are not standard; neither is the non-resonant type silencer so far. I hope this will make the matter clear. C. | ||
