PEREGRINE & BENSPORT - LAMPS.

We believe HH. will confirm that after a visit by Sales Manager Mr. Pacey/of Messrs J.{Mr Johnson W.M.} Lucas & Co., it will be possible for us to buy a Lucas lamp in design and style like R.170., but in size half way between R.170. and R.160. This lamp will shortly be in production and a sample set will be available soon.

This we think fills the book as far as Peregrine is concerned.

With respect to Bensport the first car has R.170.SaL'S., and we understand from Messrs Lucas that there are no other lamps available - that is to say - if we want Rotax or C.A.V., they will be made to order under contract. This they say they can do fairly easily provided we retain the expensive parts of the lamp. We are therefore proposing to take the shell of the Talbot-Rotax lamp and merely modify the bezel. We are going to send sketches to Messrs Lucas for their comments, and will report again later on.
