Chassis No. 88-HG - Vonck.

Your EP{G. Eric Platford - Chief Quality Engineer}/Thn6/H6.10.25.

We have noted your remarks in respect of the steering trouble on the above car.

We should like to say, however, that as regards the comments in the penultimate paragraph of your memo, Front Wheel Brakes were fitted on this car in January last, and although at that time, and in order to meet the special circumstances in connection with the fitting of Front Wheel Brakes, it was agreed that no other class of work should be done on a chassis other than the Front Wheel Brake job, we should certainly have attended to any steering trouble if such had been in evidence during the testing of a Front Wheel Brake car.
